New Adoptable Pumping Stations partnership shakes up the market!

A New Partnership between Pump Technology Ltd and Caprari (UK) Ltd. brings improved support for specifiers and developers who require an Adoptable Pumping Station.

The project team at Pump Technology Ltd., led by Steve Murphy, the company’s own in-house drainage consultant, have earned a reputation for providing a fast and friendly service supported by clear detailed documentation.

Now, working closely with Caprari as their “technical associates”, the new partnership is able to offer equipment to comply with Utility Companies “Sewers for Adoption” standards across England and Wales.

The new relationship offers improved levels of project management and competitive quotations.

In a marketplace which, up till now, has provided relatively limited supplier choice, this development at last provides potential customers with a new and really experienced team of specialists to call upon for advice and assistance.

Rusina Fields is situated in the historic and beautiful Norfolk village of East Harling. The site, which is named after the area’s historical Ancient Roman connections, is located some 8 miles (13 km) east of the town of Thetford and 25 miles (40 km) southwest of the city of Norwich.

Caprari Pumps UK Ltd., advised and worked with housing developers, their civil contractors and consultants to design, supply, deliver, and install the sewage pumping station to meet ‘Sewers for Adoption’ standards.

Caprari’s long-standing relationships with Water Authorities enable them to fully understand the requirements and to assist the engineering department when adopting this pumping station.

The company also helped the housing developer during each phase of the adoption process, providing a complete mechanical and electrical installation and contracting service. This includes drawings for submission and approval, hydraulic calculations, system curves, and technical specifications of pumps, control panels, and associated plant.

As part of the mechanical and electrical installation service, the housing developer is provided with site commissioning, electrical certification, lifting certification, and telemetry commissioning.

With the skills and experience to project-manage turn-key projects, provide safety files, comprehensive Safe Systems of Work, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, etc. The Caprari’s management and supervisory staff are trained through the SMSTS and SSSTS schemes and, importantly for developers, are registered through Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) with the Safety Management Advisory Service (SMAS).
