Package Pumping Station for New House Build
The Pump Technology Service team commissioning the new pumping station.
A Pump Technology Pumpmatic
The Requirement
The construction of a new house at Brimpton, Berkshire, required a package pumping station for its wastewater and sewage services.
An existing 2” discharge drainage pipe was already in-situ and could be utilised for the discharge from the new pumping station.
The Solution
WF Pearce, contacted the regional wastewater and sewage pumping specialist Pump Technology, to size a tank with 24 hour storage and pumps for the new house.
After discussions, a packaged pumping station was selected, a Pump Technology PumpMatic 125 tank, 1000mm, dia. and 1250mm deep in size.
Guide rail mounted Piranha submersible cutter pumps were selected and fitted into the tank. The discharge connection from the tank to the pipe work was via an MDPE pipe connector.
Float switches and a control panel ensure the accurate stop / stop of the pumps, automatic changeover of the duty pump, and start-up of the standby pump if ever required. The control panel is fitted with a high level alarm.
The package pumping station was installed by WF Pearce and then commissioned by the in-house Pump Technology Ltd, service team, who also offer a maintenance programme for the sewage pumping station.
