Pump Technology Ltd supports English Riviera Bike Night

If you know the Eastern Esplanade in Paignton, then you’ll have heard about Wednesday Bike Nights where from May to the end of September theres a chance for bikers to catch up and chat with like minded people, an array of motorcycles to drool over and good food to enjoy.

These bike nights are probably the largest weekly events in the UK and without doubt the best location in the country. Each bike that attends donates £2.00 at the pay gate and there are collection pots around the site where people can also donate. The organisers sell merchandise (T-shirts, Biker patches, caps etc.) to boost funds aswell. The aim of the charity is to raise as much as possible over the season.  All of this money, except for a few running expenses, is given away to local children’s groups in the Torbay area and other good causes such as Devon Freewheelers EVS, Blood Bikes etc.

Every week a “bike of the night” is chosen and each winner is awarded a trophy made by one of the members.

Of course, it costs money to put these events on so Pump technology Ltd.’s sponsorship went a long way to cover these costs helping towards giving as much away as possible each year.
